Baum stated that there was a major issue last meeting with mining and in particular, blasting and houses being shaken from the blasts. Baum asked our attorney four different questions dealing with this issue and the answers are available in written format at the Township.
Baum stated that in his opinion, the Trustees can only direct the residents to the correct organization that has the legal authority to monitor mining.
Grooms did ask Kimble to take care of the dust that they produce because the complaints and issues with that is a lot more than the blasting.
Eric Kimble stated that they are working on the dust and have a few things in place that they would like to do to alleviate this problem.
