Regular Meeting
President Doug Baum called the meeting to order at
A motion was made by Charnetzky accepting the minutes and financials as presented. Seconded by Baum.
1st Public Speaks Session
Chris Lehman, from the park board, thanked the
Trustees for all of their help in helping with the maintenance of the Sandy
Valley Community Pool and Park. They
have started off with a great year and the patrons are happy.
David Ross thanked Gary Alkire for the tour and the
Trustees agreed that it was great to see how the operations of a mining company
works.
Dave Collier reminded everyone of the fireworks on
the 4th, the car show on the 5th as well as the homecoming occurring
during those days. There are raffle tickets available as well as Bingo is back
with all funds going to the Volunteer Fire Department.
A motion was made by Charnetzky to go into executive
for personnel at 8:28. Seconded by Baum.

Deputy Evanoff read the police report.
Resolution #08-2008 was passed accepting the
verbiage for the Fire Levy balloting.
Resolution #09-2008 was passed accepting the
verbiage for the Road Levy balloting.

A motion was made by Charnetzky accepting the
verbiage on both resolutions. Seconded
by Baum.

Charlie Hall will be sending it to the Board of
Elections so they can approve and put it on the ballot in November.
Pahanish read the road
report.
They finished the entire list
of chip and sealing that was approved.
He would also like to get a
utility bed, which cost about $5,000.
Charnetzky stated that there
is a program that they break the roads down into ratings and if the road has a
certain condition, it predicts what you will have to do to fix the roads and
lays out a plan for the future.
Knox will look into a think
pad so they can use it on this potential system, and let the Trustees know.
A motion was made by
Charnetzky to approve spending up to $23,000 for Brinker off of Dueber. Seconded by Baum.
Mr. Herstine asked if we
would boom mow the ditch on his property.
We’ve been mowing it for years and the Trustees agreed to do it again.
Working on same issues, with
cleanups topping the list.
