Members present were

Mrs. Zaleski opened the meeting at
7:04 p.m. stating that the first order
of business would be to apply to Regional Planning to change the area west of
Ridge and South of Ullet from I-2 (General
Industrial) to R-1 (one & two family
residential). After much discussion and
consulting with Attorney Hall, it was decided to request the less restrictive
zoning district of R-2 (Multi-family Residential District) for the area West or
The following text changes would also be requested: 1. Title II, C, (8). Amend to include an amended subsection (47). and 2. amend Section Seven, Title IV, (A) (47) as follows:
(47) All
Sanitary/Demolition/Residual Solid Waste Landfill sites, must consist of one hundred (100) acres and subject to approval of the County Health
Department, and State and Federal requirements governing landfills and equipped
with an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved radioactive monitoring
system. All work connected with such
operations shall be conducted only during the hours as agreed to by the permit
holder and the Board of Zoning Appeals and as determined to be for the good of
the community.
No
new Sanitary/Demolition/Residential Solid Waste Landfill sites can be closer
than a two (2) mile radius from an existing, operating, disbanded or closed
site.
Ramon Halter made a motion to request the changes be made to Regional Planning. Seconded by Glen Johnstone. The vote was unanimous to move forward with initiating the above changes.

OTHER BUSINESS
Trustee, Doug Baum addressed the Board saying that he and
Attorney Hall met with representatives of the City of
Township and/or the Stark Parks department as a green space area. Terms as yet to be determinied.
David Ross, of the Commission, questioned Attorney Hall about the regulations on MOBILE HOME PART DISTRICT (R-3) in regards to the setbacks and attaching garages and/or accessory buildings to the mobile homes. Attorney Hall said that the zonebook does not spell out any setbacks, except for a ten (10) foot front yard depth. He asked the Commission to defer any action until he has explored the park and can make a recommendation.
Ramon Halter made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Glen Johnstone. The meeting was adjourned at 8:49 p.m.
