President Doug Baum called the meeting to order at

1st Public Speaks Session
Linda
Zaleski stated that something still has the has the water backed up by her
ditch. Pahanish stated that there are
beavers that will need removed by licensed trappers once the season comes in.
Anstine
added that there will be a lottery and then during trapping season they will be
able to trap them and then blow up the dams that were built.
She
also asked if we could cut the trees back like last time where her Mom used to
live. Visibility is becoming an issue
again.
She
also added that there is a meeting with the OH EPA at
Clarence
asked about the odor that is starting to come out of the landfill again. Is something going on? The Trustees are not aware of anything but
will check into it.
Mr.
Ross thanked Dave Collier for the Halloween Party that the ESVFD and
Tri-Division put on. He also thanked Deputy
Evanoff for patrolling
Deputy
Evanoff thanked the Trustees and Clerk for the candy that he handed out to the
kids on Halloween.
Also,
he went on 13 different calls, with 10 reports.
18 traffic stops with 16 citations.
Anstine stated that he spoke to ODOT about the bad
bumps on
Strad talked to Staley technology about a
surveillance system and they are to be in contact with Knox.

Strad asked if we have heard anything about the CEDA
agreement? Baum said that the Village
has it so if they do anything, it will be two weeks from tonight.
A motion was made by Anstine to send a letter to
state legislators to fix the problems at the landfill. The letter is contingent on Thursdays EPA
meeting. Seconded by Strad.
Anstine will call Hall to draft a letter if
necessary depending on the outcome of the meeting.

The
F550 small dump has had several drive train problems. For $2,300 dollars, that would extend the
warranty for another 4 years on the engine and drive train. The Trustees agreed to extend the warranty.
Our
Gradall is ready for a set of tires. The
Trustees will take a look at them and let him know what to do.
