He did state that the Village did turn off his water
in an hour of finding out that he was drilling water well. He said the whole thing was very hostile and
he is glad he kept it quiet about whether he was staying or leaving the Village. He said Joe from the Village went by a few
times, and then he called Mr. Adams and asked him if he was drilling a
well. Mr. Adams said yes and within an
hour, his water was shut off without notice.
He said one camp is saying we will support you
either way(Township), and the other camp(Village) says if you don’t annex, you
will lose your water. That does not seem
like the proper way to treat residents.
Mr. Burns
asked if signs could be put on Route 800 about engine brakes. Since the new mine went in, trucks have been

on the mining drive/road.
He was told that the Trustees would have to ask for
them to put up the signs about the breaks.
Anstine will call Mike Young at the State office and ask what they need
from us to place the signs up about the engine brakes. As for the dust, the Trustees asked
