OTHER ZONING BUSINESS

Trustee, Douglas Baum asked to address the Board concerning the proposed annexation of the U.S. Ceramic Tile land to the Village of East Sparta.  He stated that, if anyone was in opposition to the annexation, they should appear at the Hearing of the Stark County Commissioners, October 25th at the Township Hall and express their opposition to the Commissioners as well as the reasons for their opposition.

He also stated that the Trustees were against the annexation because of the vast area, being larger than the Village itself.  He also commented that the Village’s zoning regulations are vague and the possibilities are unlimited what could occur on that land.

Nancy made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Seconded by Louis Grooms.  The meeting was adjourned at 8:04 p.m.
