Lee Strad opened the meeting of the Trustees at 8:45 a.m. in the second floor hallway of the Stark County Courthouse. Douglas Baum, Robert Anstine, Lee Strad, Steve Knox; Zoning Inspector, Sharon Perrine, and Bob Burkhart, Chairman of the Board of Zoning Appeals were in attendance. Roll call: Robert Anstine, yes; Douglas Baum, yes; Lee Strad, yes.
No Public Comments were allowed, stating the purpose of the meeting was to attend and give testimony in Judge Lee Sinclair’s Courtroom regarding Case No. 2004CV02705: Republic Services of Ohio II, LLC., vs Pike Township Board of Trustees.
At 12:20 p.m. Judge Sinclair called a recess in the proceedings. Douglas Baum made a motion to adjourn the trustees meeting. Seconded by Robert Anstine. Roll call: Robert Anstine, yes; Douglas Baum, yes; Lee Strad, yes.
At 1:00 Douglas Baum made a motion to resume the trustees meeting. Seconded by Robert Anstine. Roll call: Robert Anstine, yes; Douglas Baum, yes. A few minutes later Lee Strad returned to the courtroom and also agreed to resume the meeting.
The Court Session ended at 4:08 p.m., at which time, Robert Anstine made a motion to adjourn the trustees meeting. Seconded by Douglas Baum. Roll call: Robert Anstine, yes; Douglas Baum, yes; Lee Strad, yes.
