1st Public Speaks Session

Mr. Casto stated that they cleaned part of the ditches on Maplehurst but didn’t finish the rest of them.  It is the 6600 block.  He also asked when they would put the ditch back in.  The County changed the water flow on one of there roads which now flows down onto his property.  Strad stated that all of the Trustees looked at the problem and determined that there is nothing that they can do.

New Business

Jim Nemeth from Phoenix Stone discussed plans for what he would like to do.  Since Westbrook is now closed for awhile, he doesn’t have a good way to get the limestone to the plant.  He would like to use the first 1100 feet on East Sparta Ave.  There are no houses that will be bothered, but also, they will need a bond for $11,000.  Unfortunately the bond won’t be available until Thursday or Friday.  He is willing to give us a check until the bond comes in.  The Trustees would like to give him a month assuming the bond will be here.  In the meantime, Knox will hold the payment that he has until the bond comes in.

A motion was made to accept the offer assuming we will have the bond by Thursday.  Seconded by Strad.
