PIKE TOWNSHIP HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Volunteers constructed the sub-floor of the Log House and a contractor was hired to re-assemble the logs and install the roof.

The Melscheimer School property was donated by Raymond Creager in memory of his mother, Betty (Sheatzley) Creager to Pike Township to be part of the Melscheimer Cemetery property. A committee, headed by Nancy Snyder, has been formed to restore the school, to as close as original as possible. Anyone wanting to contribute time, knowledge or money to this restoration, can do so by contacting Nancy Snyder at 330-484-2716.

CLEAN UP Collections Days Thru
THE SUMMER MONTHS ENDS OCTOBER 16TH.
Please bring your non-hazardous trash items to the Township Garage from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m……..Personnel will be on hand to help you unload your trash items.
Any loose (small ) items, such as kitty litter, must be in bags to aid in handling and a limit of four (4) tires per household is strictly enforced. A large bin will be available at the Township Garage for Leaf Collection. All leaves must be in a biodegradable bag or may be placed loosely in the bin.
