A master development plan for the 327 acre Fry Family Park is available for online viewing. The park will honor the memory of the Stark County Park District’s first director, Richard Fry, and his family. A rolling mixture of grasslands, hardwood forests, a pond, wetlands and stream, the land is home to songbirds, game birds, raptors and small mammals.

PIKE TOWNSHIP HISTORICAL SOCIETY (dues due January 1)
The Society is a volunteer organization working with other community groups. It was formed in 1999 with the intention of recording oral histories of our citizens, gathering family genealogy records and collecting items, articles and pictures relating to the history of Pike township and the Villages of East Sparta and Sandville.
Yearly Dues are: Student $5, Individuals, $10, family of 2 $15, Business $20 and Patron $35 and meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at the community building.
